Seven little ways to be less stressed.

Go to sleep earlier: When you’re missing sleep and energy, it automatically affects your mood, and you become more nervous even for little things that aren’t even important. I know it’s not always fun to got to bed early, as that in general, we go to school/work and our free time is during evening and night. Try to go sleep at least one little hour earlier each days. You will see the difference.

Exercise: It’s proven that it’s one of the best stress prevention method - and beside being good for your mood, it’s good for your general health, and your appearance! There are many many ways to exercise and anyone will find what’s the best for them. Running, swimming, walking, dancing, yoga, and much more. Look around for what would be the best for you!

Eat healthy: Just like exercising, this point is very essential. Eat a lot of fruits, vegetables (as in smoothies for examples, those are delicious and fun to make!) drink a lot of water and tea.

Write to-do lists: Take pretty paper, your favorite pen and write down the important points of the day. But only the important ones! The rest can wait. There is no use in wanting to do too much, it always is a bad idea, for your health, and for the rest. You’re an human, and tomorrow will come, so don’t worry you will be able to do all you wanted and more in the coming days (and without a doubt, it will be done better!)

Clean and organize: Your room, phone, car, etc. Make your environment a cozy and relaxing area, where you feel great. Organize every things (what is more annoying than not finding what you’re looking for in your room?) get rid of all the things you don’t use anymore (we ALL have some of those!)

Slow down: When things are rushed, they are rarely nicely done. Take your time, and take time for yourself - to enjoy things etc. Everything will get done, maybe they’ll take a little more time than expected, but you won’t feel stressed.

Enjoy the nature: No matter where we live, we can all find our very own little piece of nature. It doesn’t have to take hours: a little walk once in a while, to quit the “real life”, the stress, the noises. Don’t bring your phone, and just walk around, enjoy the colors, the smells, the calm.

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in, forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day, you shall begin it well and serenely.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
